Clan Noventa had resided in Castle Noventa since 1124 AD when they took it in battle. In 2144, when demolition of old Earth and the construction of modern day Earth was at it’s zenith, William Noventa’s Great, Great, Great Grandmother had the castle spared form demolition. Stone by stone, statue by stature, piece by piece, with no expense spared, the castle was moved form Spain to France, now Area 14 dubbed New Gaul. Once done, the citadel was reconstructed atop as a hundred and twenty story tower with a square footage of 106,000 m2. Additionally, the castle was modernized accordingly.

Today as it sits, it’s one of many modern marvels. One of mans’ many great super structures among many others that make up the whole of the megacity of Octavia Minor. On all sides, the grounds around the tower went on for fifteen miles. On said grounds were a lake, a planetarium, a massive greenbelt / arboretum, a family museum and a family mausoleum. Standing sentry over the grounds 24/7 were ground to air missile defense batteries and gunnery implements. In Will’s own words ‘both a hell and a place of wonder for one to spend their youth and grow up.’

It was here where William Noventa was raised. He grew up among the privileged, son to Samuel Noventa and Anna-Lisa Noventa. His mother spent her mandatory 20 year tour of service as a combat field medic, going from one bloody gruesome battlefield to the next. When she mustered out and gained her citizenship, she never looked back. Ever since, she has enjoyed all that life had to offer, sometimes to excess. She lived a very indigent and liberal life. One that growing up for the most part, Will enjoyed.

His father on the other hand, Sam Noventa, he had worked his way through the ranks and upon completing two tours, joined the ranks of the admiralty. And while Will lived a childhood of leisure as well, all the while, his father was grooming him for the Earth Alliance regular forces. The only problem was… William refused to be controlled and directed by anyone. Thus, he refused to do anything that his father wanted of him. Instead, when he was 14, using the station of the name ‘Noventa,’ William joined the Office of Special Intelligence, the OSI.

Once a part of that, he entered the Alliance war academy proper and began working his way through the ranks. Being a part of the OSI, even as part of the admiralty, his father wasn’t allowed to know a single thing about him. That was just how Noventa wanted it. Over the years, he became the best of the best. When he was 17 in 2349, he attended an academy ball where he saw for the first time one Norah Epstein. Her faced was bruised, she was scared and she was on a date with a boy and his girlfriend who stood above her station and as such, gave her no choice in the matter. Noventa went over and took her from them and never let her go.

He fell in love with her instantly and form that point on, they were inseparable. He saved her from her troubles and killed anyone who dare try to harm her. From there, after graduation, he stayed on as a temp instructor at the academy until Norah too graduated the OSI, which Noventa had helped to enter her into. For four years they were best friends and he never once laid a hand on her until the night she graduated. On that night, they made love for the first time and became true soul mates. When they were both full standing officers, they began going on mission after mission for the OSI and in due time, began cutting a bloody swath in their wake.

In 2355, they were given command of the Raptor’s Wrath and their own force of OSI soldiers whom would became known as the Raptors. From that point on, the Raptors became a thing to be feared by all. Any who saw them never lived to tell the tale. In 2361, Noventa, Epstein and the other Raptors stormed the Olympus Mons II in the final battle of the war between the Earth and Mars. Norah Epstein was the one who shot President Ellena Genevieve in the head while Noventa went and retrieved her daughter Matti Jo Genevieve.

After that, Matilda was turned over and put into four years of forced bondage. In 2365, when the mad Emperor was killed, Noventa was again sent in to retrieve the girl. Only now, Matti Jo Genevieve was dead and only Sophie McGillicuddy remained. Noventa took her from her prison, and over the course of 9 years, Sophie became his first born daughter. Together, Noventa, Epstein and Sophie became three of the deadliest assassins who ever lived. These events are covered in the novel, Renegades of Destiny Book II, Tears of the Earth.
