Matilda Josephina Genevieve sat and waited, just as she was told to. She was the first child of the Martian Unified Independent Government and daughter of President Ellena Genevieve. For a while now, the ship had stopped shaking all around her and all was silent. She was sitting in her mother’s executive quarters aboard the Olympus Mons II, the flag ship of the Unified Martian fleet.
She was sitting on the bed which, at the moment, was the only clear space in the entire room. D
